'Verdaccio' The underpaintings

This collection is designed to be together.

The portraits are on average about 1/3 oversize (perfect for an upscale hotel or casino) of North American Indians circa about 1878-1901 and are a tribute to Edward S. Curtis.

 I chose these few portraits among 200-300 photos, because I saw something special in their eyes a spirit I have observed in nature from a variety of creatures. I was compelled to create a full color rendering in the manner of the Italian Masters.
